If you’re feeling frightened about what comes next, don’t be. Embrace the uncertainty. Allow it to lead you places. Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path towards happiness, don’t waste time with regret. Spin wildly into your next action. Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes; because you’ll never get another one quite like it. And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over. Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart… where your hope lives. You’ll find your way again.

I hope something happens. I’m restless as the devil and have a horror of getting fat or falling in love and growing domestic.

I did it Ma! Your baby girl is graduating from college today!

Dear Boys Next Door,

This last year of being your neighbor has been fun and I am going to miss it.

I am going to miss hearing your screams and yells directed towards one another as you play video games (Mario Brothers and golf games seemed to excite you the most); I am going to miss seeing the three of you at dinner, talking animatedly to one another; I am going to miss overhearing small snippets of your conversations when I walk by your room to go to the bathroom or when I pass you guys in the hall as I am leaving and you are entering the building (or Vice-versa), the things you talk about always made me laugh; I am even going to miss hearing the sound of a toothbrush being hit against the sink every time one of you brushes their teeth.

You guys have been good dorm neighbors, have made me laugh on several occasions, and have exemplified what a true bromance is and should be. It has been fun and I wish you nothing but luck.

Sincerely,

The Girl Next Door
